Can I take my dress with me straight away?

Once you've found your vintage wedding dress with us, we'll take your measurements and send them to the Belle Couture studio in Saarbrücken. Your dress will then be tailored exclusively and individually for you. Your dress will usually be ready to ship within four to six weeks and can either be delivered directly to your home or you can return to us for a final fitting.

For the bride, the wedding dress fitting is a very special experience. To ensure it's an unforgettable and successful experience, there are a few things to consider and a few unanswered questions you may have already asked yourself.

Often everyone wants to come along to the fitting: the mom, the best friend and maid of honor, the grandma, the aunts or the little niece.

But too many opinions can be unsettling and quickly turn into stress. Furthermore, the more people you have, the more clothing you want, and thus often the more choices you have. It can quickly become difficult to keep a cool head and not let yourself be talked into something.

It's best to come alone and just listen to yourself and your gut feeling, or bring a maximum of two other people with you.

If you've never tried on a wedding dress before, you might be wondering what to wear or bring with you. We recommend wearing clothes you can quickly put on and take off, and wearing the bra you actually plan to wear to your wedding, if you already have one.
If you're planning on a long wedding dress, feel free to bring shoes with the heel height you plan to wear at the wedding. Wearing a little makeup on your face will protect the dress during the fitting.

Many brides are in a hurry to buy their wedding dress. Even if it's difficult, wait to visit us until you've finalized the details of the ceremony.

It's usually perfectly adequate to start your search six months before the wedding. You should also factor in possible weight fluctuations. Wedding stress will make itself felt. But it doesn't have to be too late. Three months before the wedding is the absolute minimum.
