The real underwear – The 1927 Henley Shirt
Button-down shirts have always been the first layer of clothing next to the skin. Dress shirts were usually worn over a long-sleeved or short-sleeved version of a button-down shirt. This is the background for the 1927 Henley Shirt by Pike Brothers.
It is thinner than the 1954 Utility Shirt and is not brushed on the inside, making it lighter on the skin and cooler. Ideal for wearing under a shirt or as a sole layer in the summer.
