Most knitwear starts out with a pilling problem, but don't panic, we have an insider tip: a wool comb is your hero against the fluff! Picking is a no-go - it only makes everything worse. So, grab the comb, get rid of the pilling and your sweater will last you for years.
How to look after wool knitwear properly: Your wool items are low-maintenance queens. Wool practically cleans itself and if your sweater needs a fresh kick, take it outside to air it. Washing is only necessary if it is really dirty. Put it in the washing machine on the wool cycle or by hand in lukewarm water - hot baths only lead to shrinkage. Always use special wool detergent. Squeeze the sweater carefully after bathing, never wring it! Lay it on a towel to dry, roll it up and when the towel is wet, lay the sweater flat. Please do not hang it up, this stretches the fibers and makes the sweater look baggy. My recommendation: fold knitwear rather than hang it up, this keeps it in top shape!
